Getting started

Clockspot.app and Clockspot.com

Your login page for the older Clockspot app is on Clockspot.app, not Clockspot.com. Clockspot.com is now the new Clockspot website and app.

Sign in to your Clockspot.app account

  1. Find your company login address. It usually looks like https://your-company.clockspot.app.
  2. If your old bookmark used .clockspot.com, change only the ending to .clockspot.app. For example, https://acme.clockspot.com becomes https://acme.clockspot.app.
  3. Open that address in your browser. Do not add www.
  4. When you see your company name or logo, sign in with the same Clockspot.app login your business already uses.

Depending on your workspace settings, the login page may show a list of employees or a form with Email or Username and Password. If you cannot remember your password, use Forgot password? on that login page.

What changed

Clockspot.com used to point to the older Clockspot app. It is now the new Clockspot website and the new Clockspot app, so going there no longer shows the older login page.

The older app did not go away. It runs on Clockspot.app, and your company keeps its own .clockspot.app address. The two are separate apps with separate logins: your Clockspot.app account does not sign you in to the new Clockspot.com app, and a new account does not sign you in to Clockspot.app.

Some old .clockspot.com bookmarks may forward to the matching .clockspot.app page. If yours does, update the bookmark to the .clockspot.app address so employees land in the right place directly.

What is different in the Clockspot.com app

The new Clockspot.com app is a separate, rebuilt version of Clockspot. It does not use your Clockspot.app login, and creating a new Clockspot.com account does not open your older Clockspot.app records. You do not have to move to it, but here is what it includes if you want to look.

  • Clock-in options. Employees can clock in from their own account, from a shared kiosk screen with a PIN, or by phone. You can also limit clock-ins by GPS location, IP address, or registered device.
  • Verification and location review. A shared kiosk can take a photo at each clock-in and clock-out, and Clockspot includes reports for missing location, photo, or phone voice evidence.
  • Timesheets, corrections, and payroll readiness. Employees review and submit hours, managers approve timesheets and edit requests, and Payroll Readiness points out blockers before you rely on payroll totals.
  • Time off. Set up time off types, accrual rules, and balances, then handle requests and approvals in one place.
  • Jobs and labor costing. Track hours against jobs or projects, set per-job pay rates, and review job hours or labor cost by job.
  • Reports and scheduled exports. Attendance, hours, overtime, time off, payroll, job, audit, verification, and location reports live under Reports. Scheduled Reports can email recurring report exports or saved payroll export profiles.
  • People and pay. Manage employee profiles and roles, and keep each person's pay and pay history on one Compensation page.
  • Connections. Connect Clockspot to an assistant or generate API keys for other tools.
  • Current help. The help center includes setup pages and troubleshooting pages for payroll readiness, missed clock-ins, approved timesheets, pay totals, access problems, and time off balances.

Benefits of switching

Switching is optional, and there is no deadline. If your current setup already does what you need, there is no reason to change.

The practical benefits are easier clock-in rollout, stronger review before payroll, deeper job and location reporting, scheduled report emails, and connection options for assistant clients, API keys, and other integrations. The new help center also makes setup and troubleshooting easier to answer without guessing from old product behavior.

If employees ask where to go

Give employees the exact company login address, not just "Clockspot.com."

Use this format:

https://your-company.clockspot.app

Replace your-company with the word your business uses before .clockspot.app.

Common questions

Where did our old Clockspot login page go?

Use your company address on Clockspot.app, such as https://your-company.clockspot.app. Clockspot.com is now the new website and new app, so it may not show the older login page.

Is Clockspot.app going away?

No. Clockspot.app is still supported. Switching to the new Clockspot app is optional.

Can we use the same login on Clockspot.com?

Your Clockspot.app account and the new Clockspot.com app are separate. Use your Clockspot.app login on your company .clockspot.app address.

What if our old .clockspot.com bookmark still works?

It may forward to the matching .clockspot.app page. Update the bookmark to the .clockspot.app address so employees do not keep landing on the old domain first.

Can an assistant connect to our Clockspot.app account?

Assistant connections are for the new Clockspot.com app. Keep using your company .clockspot.app address for your older Clockspot.app account.
