Each employee chooses their name and enters a personal PIN on a shared tablet or computer.
A landline or cell phone call records the employee, private PIN, job code, and voice check.
When a clock-in does not match
Clock-out is never blocked
Job-site clock-in rules
Define an approved GPS area for each active site. Choose whether an employee can clock in, sees a warning while the exception is recorded, or is blocked when no active rule matches.
Location rules apply to an employee's own account and a shared kiosk. Phone clocking uses approved calling numbers separately.
Before the crew leaves
Clockspot opens the checklist that applies when an employee clocks out from their own account. Employees record what was completed and flag anything the office needs to follow up on.

Construction customer story
“We have tried other systems over the last five years. Clockspot is by far the one our field employees and office staff like best.”
Keep clock-ins available in the field while the office gets the records it needs to answer questions and prepare payroll.
Hours by job
Use a client for the customer, a job for the project, phase, or cost code, and a work site for the physical location. Keep that assignment with the time entry through review.

Yes. For an employee account or shared kiosk, you can allow the entry, warn the employee and record the exception, or block clock-in when no active job-site rule matches. Clock-out is never blocked.
Yes. Employees can call Clockspot from a landline or cell phone, enter their ID and PIN, and follow the prompts. The call does not require a browser, app, or job-site internet.
Yes. Use a client for the customer, a job for the project, phase, or cost code, and a work site for the physical location. Employees choose the job when they clock in, so managers can review the hours by job or client.
Yes. Employees who drive for work can record the trip date, distance, purpose, origin, destination, and optional construction job or work site. Managers can review those trips when preparing reimbursement or business-mileage records without continuously tracking the employee’s route.
Clock-ins from an employee account can include GPS, IP, device details, and the result of an approved-location check when the employee shares the required details. Phone entries keep caller and voice details instead.
Managers can find open entries, review employee edit requests with reasons attached, and approve reviewed timesheets. Approved hours then appear in payroll reports and configured export files.
Use your own employees, job sites, and clock-in methods for a full pay period, then review the finished job hours before payroll.
