What is a time clock for field employees?

Yes. Phone clocking lets an employee call Clockspot from a landline or cell phone. The resulting entry keeps the calling number and voice check rather than browser location details.
Do employees have to use their personal phones?
No. An employee can use their own phone or computer, a shared kiosk on an existing tablet or computer, or phone dial-in. You can mix clock-in methods within the same account.
What location information can a manager review?
When an employee clocks in or out from their own account and the device shares location, the entry can include GPS, IP, and device details. Kiosk and phone entries keep the details available from those methods instead.
What if clock-event location is not enough for our workflow?
Clockspot currently attaches GPS to clock events when an employee uses their own account and shares location. If you need location between clock events or another field-tracking workflow, contact us. We want to understand the decision that information needs to support.
