Clock-in options

Give every client-site shift a practical way to start.

Let employees clock in from their own browser.

The worker chooses the client or assignment job. When they share location, the clock event can be checked against your clock-in rules.

Give phone-only workers a call-in option.

A personal PIN, the approved calling number, and an optional voice check help identify the employee and preserve the clock event.

Share one PIN clock at a client site.

Choose which employees can use the kiosk. Optional photos add review context, while camera trouble never blocks the time entry.

Client-site assignments

See each client shift without losing the agency-wide view.

Publish employee shifts with the client job and a useful note. Workers see their own assignments, while agency administrators can review time across the full account.

  • Assign each client job to everyone or only selected employees
  • Keep overnight assignments attached to the day they begin
  • See current employee status account-wide from Who’s Working

Assignment record

Keep each client’s hours attached through payroll review.

The selected client job stays with the time entry, so the agency can trace each total back to the employee record before approving or exporting hours.

Before payroll

Turn a missed client-site clock-out into a payroll-ready record.

Find the employee and client job, review the requested time and available clock-event evidence, check breaks and overtime, then approve the period. Payroll gets a clearer record without losing how the correction was resolved.

Common questions

See whether Clockspot fits the way your agency tracks employee time.

  • Built for employee time records
  • Keeps client jobs with the hours
  • Keeps corrections reviewable
Can we track temporary worker hours by client or assignment?

Yes. Set up a client, assignment, or work area as a Clockspot job and assign it to everyone or selected employees. The selected job stays with the time entry and appears in Job Hours reports. A Clockspot job is not an ATS job order or placement record.

Can we verify that a worker clocked in at the client site?

Clockspot can keep available geolocation, IP, browser, kiosk, or approved-caller evidence with a clock event. Supported rules can allow, warn on, or block an unrecognized clock-in; clock-out is never blocked. Clockspot does not continuously track workers or record routes.

Can temporary employees share a time clock with photos?

Yes. Register a tablet or computer as a shared kiosk and choose which employees can use it. Each worker clocks with a personal PIN. Photo capture is optional for each kiosk, and a camera problem never blocks the time entry.

Do workers need to install a mobile app?

No. Employees can clock in from their browser account, so a required native app is not part of the workflow. Clockspot does not currently offer native iPhone or Android apps or offline punching.

Does Clockspot handle our ATS, client approvals, or billing?

No. Keep recruiting, job orders, placements, credentials, client approval, bill rates, invoices, and payroll processing in the systems built for those jobs. Clockspot keeps the agency employee time record clear before those handoffs.

How do reviewed staffing hours reach payroll?

Employees can request corrections with a reason. Administrators review the entries and approve the period, then download CSV, Excel, or PDF reports or use a configured export file. Clockspot prepares the employee records but does not process payroll.
