Every exported Time Activity carries the QuickBooks person you matched and the required service item that describes the work.
Add an optional customer, Class, QuickBooks Location, billable and taxable choices, and a description. Apply the same choices company-wide or set them by Clockspot job.
Export history
Automatic export is optional and applies only to approvals completed after you turn it on. Clockspot waits until every worked timesheet is approved, every time entry is closed, and every required QuickBooks match is ready. If a removal, QuickBooks-side change, or earlier export needs review, Clockspot pauses and notifies administrators.
The sample opens the approved Clockspot timesheets that feed the handoff. Public demo workspaces cannot connect to an Intuit company.

Clockspot sends daily Time Activities for approved paid time. Each record includes the date, duration, matched QuickBooks employee or contractor, and required service item. It can include a customer, Class, QuickBooks Location, billing and tax choices, and a description when configured. The connection does not assign QuickBooks payroll pay types.
No. The direct connection supports U.S. QuickBooks Online companies. For QuickBooks Desktop, Clockspot can create a separate IIF payroll export file that you download and import.
See payroll export filesNo. Clockspot sends approved time as QuickBooks Time Activities, but it does not assign payroll pay types, send pay rates, calculate pay, create paychecks, or handle taxes. Review exported time in QuickBooks before processing payroll. Clockspot also does not create invoices, bills, or payments.
Clockspot keeps the export history and names the recovery action. Retry is offered only for eligible failed rows. Replacing or removing a previously exported record requires a fresh preview and confirmation. The same is true when someone changes the record in QuickBooks.
