Clock-in options
The employee chooses the department Job. When they share location, the clock event can be checked against your clock-in rules.
A personal PIN, the calling number, and an optional voice check help identify the employee and preserve the clock event.
Choose which employees can use the kiosk. Optional photos add an identity check, while camera trouble never blocks the time entry.
One property day
Build shifts for the departments you operate, publish the week, and let employees see their assignments. Cross-midnight shifts remain attached to the day they begin.
Harborlight Hotel
Published department schedule
Clockspot shows the employee schedule and recorded time. Your hotel decides the staffing plan.
Department review
Clockspot keeps the selected department Job with the time entry, then carries that record into schedule comparison and payroll review.

Before payroll
Compare published shifts with completed work, collect a correction reason, review breaks and overtime, then approve the period. Clockspot preserves the work record; your hotel remains responsible for the pay rules that apply.

Edit history remains available after the workweek is approved.
Payroll handoff
Use CSV, Excel, PDF, or a configured export file.
A focused system boundary

Common questions
Yes. Set up Housekeeping, Front Desk, Maintenance, Breakfast, Banquets, Night Audit, or other work areas as Clockspot Jobs. The selected Job stays with the time entry and appears in Job Hours and labor reports.
Yes. Published shifts and recorded time can cross midnight. Schedule vs Actual can compare the completed shift with worked time, and payroll reports include the resulting hours. Clockspot does not calculate a hotel-specific shift differential.
Yes. Register a tablet or computer as a shared kiosk, and each employee uses a personal PIN. Photo capture is optional for each kiosk. A camera problem is recorded for review but never blocks the employee from clocking in or out.
Not currently. Clockspot administrators can see account-wide employee information. Jobs and clock locations can organize departments or properties, but they do not create location-limited manager permissions.
Clockspot does not currently offer hotel PMS or POS integrations. Keep reservations, rooms, guest requests, sales, tips, and property operations in the systems built for them, and use Clockspot for employee schedules and time records.
Employees can request corrections with a reason. Managers review the entries and approve the pay period, then download CSV, Excel, or PDF reports or use a configured export file. Clockspot prepares the records but does not process payroll.
