Time clock for multiple locations

Employee time clock software for multiple locations.

Collect time from branches, job sites, client locations, and routes in one account. Each site can use the clock-in method that fits, and you review one combined pay period instead of reconciling separate accounts or spreadsheets before payroll.

Clock-in choices

Give each location the clock-in method that fits.

A branch can use a shared kiosk while field employees use their own accounts or call by phone. Every record still appears in the same pay period.

Clock in from a phone or computer

Employees sign in to their own account. When the device shares location, Clockspot can record GPS, IP, and device details at clock-in or clock-out, not continuously.

Clock in at a shared kiosk

Employees use a personal PIN on a shared tablet or computer. The entry can also include a selected job.

Call when internet is unreliable

Employees call from a landline or cell phone. The entry keeps the calling number and voice check instead of GPS.

Live demo

Review every location’s hours, jobs, and approvals before payroll.

Explore the location map, Job Hours report, timesheet approvals, and Payroll Summary in a working Clockspot account.

Common questions

Questions about tracking time across multiple locations.

  • Different clock-in methods
  • Clock-in location controls
  • One payroll summary

Do all locations need the same equipment or clock-in method?

No. Clockspot does not require dedicated time clock hardware at every site. Employees can use their own accounts on a phone or computer, a shared kiosk on an existing tablet or computer, or a phone call. Every entry stays in the same pay period.

Can Clockspot block off-site clock-ins?

After you configure clocking approvals, Clockspot can allow, warn, or block an unverified clock-in from an employee's account or a kiosk. Clock-out remains available and is flagged for review. Phone clocking uses approved caller IDs.

What is the difference between a Work Site and a job?

A Work Site identifies the physical place where work happened. A job describes what the hours were for, such as a project, route, department, or cost code, and can optionally be associated with one or more Work Sites.

Can floating employees record mileage between locations?

Yes. Employees can record a work trip’s date, distance, purpose, origin, destination, and optional location job or Work Site. Managers get one searchable, exportable history for reimbursement or business-mileage preparation; Clockspot does not automatically track the route.

Does Clockspot run payroll?

No. Clockspot prepares reviewed time records, payroll reports, and export files for payroll. Your payroll provider still calculates and submits payroll.
