- Clockspot has been rebuilt from the ground up. The basics are the same. Employees clock in and out. You check their hours, and you run payroll. And there are new things it can do. In this video, we will look at the iPhone app, ChatGPT, the clock-in map, QuickBooks, schedules, and end-of-shift checklists, on a sample company. Let's start with the iPhone app.
- 0:26Employees clock in from an app
- Employees can use the Clockspot app on their iPhone. They clock in and out in the app, and they can see their schedule. They do not need to open a website. Their hours are recorded in your account, the same as from a computer. Now let's see the rest on a computer.
- 0:42Answers about your team, in plain words
- You can ask ChatGPT questions about your team's hours. Open Settings from the menu on the left, then choose ChatGPT, and connect your account once. After that, you can type a question like "Who is clocked in right now?" or "Copy last week's schedule to this week." ChatGPT answers with your own Clockspot data. You can also ask it to correct a time entry.
- 1:07Know where each shift started
- Open Clock Map from Time & Attendance. It shows a pin for each clock-in. Select a pin to see who clocked in, when, and how accurate the location was. If an employee clocks in away from a place you approved, Clockspot marks it. You can warn the employee, or block that clock-in. So you know where each shift started, without asking.
- 1:28Approved hours go to QuickBooks without retyping
- If you use QuickBooks Online for payroll, open Settings, then QuickBooks Online, and connect your QuickBooks company. Tell Clockspot which QuickBooks employee each person is. You do this once. After you approve a pay period, select Send, and each approved shift appears in QuickBooks. You do not type the hours again.

- Open Schedule from Time & Attendance. It shows one employee per row and one day per column. Add a shift for an employee, or an open shift, which is a shift no one is assigned to yet. Employees see their shifts on their phone, and they can ask for an open shift. Clockspot shows you their requests, and which days still need someone. So you can fill the week before it starts.
- 2:14Know what happened on site
- Open Work Checklists from Time & Attendance. A checklist is a short list of questions employees answer when they clock out, like "Floors vacuumed and spot mopped" or "Lights off and doors locked." You write the questions once, for a job or for the place where the work happens. When an employee marks a problem, it is listed at the top of this page, and Clockspot emails you. So you know what happened on site, without being there.

You can read about all of it on the What's new page. When you move, your employees, jobs, pay details, and time-off balances are set up for you, and your clockspot.app account stays open. Qué cambió
Clockspot.com antes apuntaba a la aplicación anterior; ahora es el nuevo sitio y aplicación. La aplicación anterior sigue disponible en la dirección propia .clockspot.app de tu empresa. Son aplicaciones y credenciales separadas: una cuenta de Clockspot.app no inicia sesión en Clockspot.com, y crear una cuenta nueva no abre registros anteriores.
Algunos marcadores .clockspot.com redirigen al equivalente .clockspot.app; actualízalos para llegar directamente.
Qué incluye la nueva aplicación
- Opciones de fichaje. Desde la cuenta propia, un quiosco compartido con PIN o por teléfono, con restricciones opcionales de GPS, IP o dispositivo.
- Verificación y ubicación. El quiosco puede tomar fotos; los informes señalan evidencia faltante de ubicación, foto o voz.
- Hojas de horas y nómina. Los empleados revisan y envían, los gerentes aprueban hojas y correcciones, y Preparación para nómina identifica bloqueadores.
- Tiempo libre. Tipos, acumulaciones, saldos, solicitudes y aprobaciones.
- Trabajos y costos. Atribuye el tiempo, configura pago por Trabajo y revisa horas o costo laboral.
- Informes y exportaciones. Asistencia, horas, horas extra, tiempo libre, nómina, Trabajo, auditoría, verificación y Lugar de trabajo; Informes programados envía archivos recurrentes.
- Personas y pago. Perfiles, acceso y todo el historial salarial en Pago del empleado.
- ChatGPT. Conecta Clockspot con ChatGPT y revisa el acceso solicitado.
- Ayuda actual. Guías de configuración y solución de problemas para las rutas principales.
