What this report shows

Verification Exceptions lists clock events that are missing expected location, kiosk-photo, or phone voice evidence.

Issue labels are Missing clock location, Location mismatch, Photo missing, and Voice recording missing. Channels are Employee app, Kiosk, Phone, and Manual. Clock events are Clock in and Clock out.

The summary counts Exceptions, Clock events, Missing locations, Mismatches, Missing photos, and Missing voice. The table shows Issue, Employee, Date, Event, Channel, Location, and Details.

Filters

Use date range, All issues, All channels, All events, All employees, and All locations. The location filter can match the event location or either side of a location mismatch.

What to do with an exception

Use the report to identify records that need review, then open Time entries for the underlying entry or Clock Locations if future clock events should match a saved location differently.

Exporting

Open the Export menu and choose Download CSV, Download Excel, or Download PDF. The export includes the same issue, channel, event, location, and detail fields shown in the report.

Common questions

Does Location mismatch always mean something is wrong?

No. It means the clock-in and clock-out matched different saved locations. That can be normal for mobile work, but it is useful to review when employees are expected to start and end at the same place.

Can I edit the recorded clock location?

No. Clock location comes from the clock event. Use Clock Locations to change which places are recognized going forward.

Why does a row show Manual as the channel?

Manual means the time entry was not created from an employee app, kiosk, or phone clock event with the expected clock-event context.
