HelpNotifications

Notifications

Catch up on recent Clockspot alerts and workspace activity, open the record behind a notification, and clear items you have finished reviewing.

Open Inbox and choose Notifications.

What you'll see

Unread opens by default. Each notification shows what happened, who triggered it, and when it arrived. The number next to Inbox shows important work first when any is waiting. Otherwise it shows your unread notification count.

Use Read to find notifications you have already cleared. Search checks the event, person, date, and notification text in the view you have open.

Acting on a notification

Press a notification to open its related page when one is available.

Open a notification's menu and choose Mark as read to move it out of Unread. In Read, the same menu offers Mark as unread.

For several notifications at once, follow these steps.

  1. Press Select.
  2. Choose individual notifications or press Select all.
  3. Press Mark selected as read or Mark selected as unread.

Customizing what you receive

Notification Preferences controls which events also reach your account by Email, SMS, or WhatsApp. Click your name at the top of the menu on the left, then choose Notification Preferences. On a phone, tap the menu button at the top left first. In-app delivery in the Notifications view is always on.

Common questions

I didn't get a notification I was expecting.

Open Notification Preferences and confirm that the event is turned on for the Email, SMS, or WhatsApp channel you're checking.

How do I find notifications I've already cleared?

Open Notifications in Inbox, then choose Read. Use Mark as unread when you want to return one to Unread.
