See why report hours differ

Understand what went into the total, including recorded breaks, before deciding whether an entry needs fixing.

“Why does Jordan’s Hours Summary show 7h 30m for September 28 when the punches are 9am–5pm?”

Example Clockspot Assistant conversation explaining how Jordan Lee’s 30-minute unpaid lunch accounts for 7h 30m in Hours Summary.

Correct several entries at once

Describe the corrections together, including what should stay unchanged. Check the proposed times and break changes before choosing Apply changes.

“Correct Alex’s October 5 clock-out to 5:30 PM, and Maria’s October 6 clock-out to 4:30 PM with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break. Keep their other entries unchanged.”

Example Clockspot Assistant conversation reviewing clock-out corrections for Alex Rivera and Maria Chen and Maria’s unpaid lunch correction.

Understand settings before changing them

Find out what your current rule does, then review the change before applying it. Turning off punch rounding affects only future clock-ins and clock-outs.

“Explain our current punch rounding and help me turn it off.”

Example Clockspot Assistant conversation explaining nearest-15-minute punch rounding and reviewing a change to turn it off for future punches.
