Clocking & time entries
Requesting a time entry edit
Ask your manager to fix a recorded time entry — correct the times, the job, or add a note.
Asking for a change
You can't change a recorded entry yourself, but you can ask. On the Timesheet page, open the row menu on the entry and choose Request edit.
In the Request edit dialog, set the corrected In time (and Out time if it's missing or wrong), pick a different Job if your workspace uses them, and use Comment to explain the change. Press Submit.
Edit requests fix an entry that already exists. To add a shift you never clocked, ask your manager to add the entry for you.
After you submit
Your request goes to a manager to review, and you're notified when it's approved or rejected. Until then it stays pending — reopen the entry and press Cancel request if you change your mind. If it's rejected, you can submit a new one.
Common questions
- Can't I just edit my own time entry?
No — recorded entries change through a request a manager reviews, which keeps the record accurate. Managers can edit entries directly.
- I forgot to clock an entire shift.
An edit request changes an existing entry. For a shift you never recorded, ask your manager to add it for you.
