What this report shows
A row per employee in the date range, with pay totals and the line details that explain them.
- Rate — the hourly rate used for the employee, or Multiple when different work lines used different rates
- Paid Work and Straight Pay — paid work duration and straight-time pay before overtime premiums
- One pair of overtime columns per multiplier — duration and premium pay for each tier, such as OT (1.5x) and DT (2.0x) Premium
- Unpaid Work, Paid Time Off, and Unpaid Time Off columns when the period has those lines
- Gross — gross pay
Each employee row expands into work, unpaid work, overtime premium, and time off lines when those lines exist. Line details show the date, job or time off type, exact duration, rate, rate source, multiplier, and pay amount needed to audit the total.
The optional columns only appear when there's data in them. A bold totals row at the bottom sums each visible column across everyone shown.
Filters
Pick a date range and, optionally, a single employee from All employees. Above the table, a status line shows how many timesheets in the selected period are approved — All timesheets approved, Not approved, or a count of how many aren't yet. Review it before sending numbers to payroll.
If a row says Needs review, some pay facts are missing or not supported yet. Open the row details to see whether to fix the employee's pay or the job's pay.
Exporting
When the visible rows are complete, open the Export menu and choose Download CSV, Copy to clipboard, or Print. The CSV and clipboard export include employee totals plus the line-level work, overtime premium, time off, and unpaid-time details shown in the report.
Common questions
- An employee's gross pay looks wrong.
Open the employee row details first. If the wrong rate was used, correct the employee's pay on Compensation or the job's pay on Jobs. If the overtime duration looks wrong, compare it with the Overtime report and your overtime settings.
- Why is export missing?
Export appears only when the visible rows have complete pay. Fix rows marked Needs review, then rerun the report.
- Where do I configure overtime multipliers and thresholds?
In the Overtime section of Time Tracking Settings.
- How do I send this to my payroll provider?
Export as CSV or copy the report to the clipboard, then use the format your payroll process expects.
